Frank Alari Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 29, 2025.
Frank Alari, 85, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, in Greer, South Carolina. Born on May 12, 1939, in Los Angeles, California, Frank lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication to his family and an unwavering work ethic.

Frank built a remarkable career as a professional truck driver delivering to the golden arches of McDonalds, achieving the extraordinary milestone of over three million accident-free miles. His commitment to safety and excellence behind the wheel was a testament to his discipline and pride in his work.

He was a loving husband to his wife Pat, with whom he shared many cherished years. Together they raised three children: Elizabeth (Shannon), Alex (Amy), and Frank (Stacy). Frank took immense pride in being a great dad and found even greater joy in his role as a grandfather. He leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren: AJ, Grace, Morgan, Matthew, Ronan, Adelaide, and Owen. His presence will be deeply missed by each of them.

Frank's passions extended beyond his career and family. He loved watching all types of football and NASCAR races and enjoyed playing golf whenever he had the chance. One of his favorite pastimes was washing his truck-a simple pleasure that brought him satisfaction and peace.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

A memorial service celebrating Frank's life will be held as an open house on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at his home located at 814 Cumberland Dr., Greer, SC 29651.

Frank Alari was a devoted husband, a great father, an even better grandfather, and a man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
