Frank Bianco Sr.

Frank Bianco Sr., 84, of Saylorsburg, died Saturday, September 12, 2009, in his home. Born: In Phillipsburg, NJ he was a son of the late Carmella and Jennie Stagnito Bianco. Personal: He was the husband of Linda Ruby Bianco. They would have observed their 29th wedding anniversary in October. He had been a machinist for M& M Mars in Hackettstown, NJ for 22 years, retiring in 1998 and previously he had worked for the RCA Record Division in Rockaway, NJ. He was a World War II Army veteran and an honorary member of the Disabled American Veterans. He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, the World War II Honorable Service Pin, the US Army and World War II Victory Commemorative Medals, the Disabled Veterans of World War II Medal and the 50th Anniversary of World War II Medal. Frank had donated 40 of his paintings to the Morris Canal Museum in Phillipsburg and he had also worked with handicapped children. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: In addition to his wife; two sons, Frank Bianco of Marshalls Creek and Scott Bianco of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Lori Bianco-Cane of Tucson, AZ; three brothers, Angelo Bianco, William Bianco, both of Easton, and Thomas Bianco of Missouri; three sisters, Lucy Honey of FL, Marie Norris and Jeanette Hunara, both of Phillipsburg; eleven grandchildren. Services: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16 from the Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
