It's been a few years since brother Boyd has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His loving memories will remain in our hearts. Today we are a living testimony that God answered those prayers to strengthen and comfort us. Family and friends, let us Continue to strive to be received by our Lord. If we do this we will see Frank again. We can go to him according to 2 Samuel 12:23.
To God be the glory!

Jackie, Karen, Frank and Keisha, I am sorry on this date I just learned about the death of your Father. I was saddened to hear the passing of a Man who Loved all and was good to so many people. I was blessed not only to be a part of his life by breaking bread together in a physical sense, but most importantly sharing the word of God with him and Sunday School. He loved reading and studying to know more about who he truly worship and love who is, God Almighty. We all should remember the words I've so often heard Frank proclaim which was "thus said the Lord" Like 24:45,46. I will always remember the 14-Carat Carrot Cake he and Mary would always have on Christmas as I do even today, when I buy it by the slice frequently. God bless!

Karen, Jackie, Frank Jr. and Takisha so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Karen and Jackie I'm sure you remember the Durante family that lived next door to you all but your brother and younger sister would not as they were too young, in fact I don't think Takisha was born when we left Rockingham. I have fond memories of playing in your back yard swing set. As the years passed and I becme an adult I would always stop by when coming to Rockingham and sometimes catch your Dad and sometimes not. When my son became a senior in High School your Dad outfitted him for his prom as a graduation gift. We were so proud and most appreciative. The tux fitted him to the "T" and had the top hat and cane to match. Over the years we always exchanged Xmas cards and very rarely did we miss. I last saw him last year and he was hard at work on one of his rental houses and I just happened to be going down Long Drive so I turned around and stopped to talk to him. Take care in knowing that your Dad was a good and kind man and always helping others. Now he has gone from Labour to rest and it is well deserved. I will miss him. With Deepest Sympathy, Regina Durante Allen

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Boyd's passing. He was the nicest, most generous, and friendly neighbor and most professional businessman who served his community. Rare to have the fortune to know such a nice man. My wedding day was made more special by his generosity in arranging my bridal party rentals, and he even offered his Lincoln for me to ride to the church. Absolutely the most genuine and nicest person one could know. Heaven has gained a gentle giant indeed. Family, you have my sincerest sympathy. Love, Julia Breeden Butler
