p> Leo Zaine Switzer, 3, of Mercer, went to Heaven on January 8, 2020, so his great grandmothers could spoil him.
Leo was born on September 25, 2016, in Duluth, Minnesota, son of Jennifer Thomas He attended Mercer Pre-Kindergarten, starting early in education because he was a baby genius. He was very loved in school and the community.
He was loved by everyone. He was the sweetest, silliest and biggest mommy’s boy. He enjoyed Batman and Paw Patrol, loved pancakes and tacos, his mommy singing “You Are My Sunshine”, and his itsy bitsy spider made his heart happy. His favorite color was blue like the sky and clouds, and his favorite sports were football and basketball.
Leo was a devoted son and brother. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Thomas, sisters, Laila Thomas and Kyleigh Mcgraw; and everyone who loved him.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Krash Inn in Hurley in the afternoon; and you can honor him by wearing Batman attire. A Memorial Service will be held at McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, Ironwood, on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Hill officiating.
Leo will have a plot located in the Mercer cemetery for family and friends to visit at any time.
Flowers or donations can be sent to 2911 Mercer Circle, Mercer, WI 54547.
Life is a box of chocolates and you never know what you are going to get; however, we had the best and elegant chocolate.
McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, Ironwood, is assisting the family. For more information or to express online condolences, please visit mckevittpatrickfuneralhome.com.
