One of the reasons my husband is such a great man is the influence his dad had on him. Frank Genta (dad) I'm sure the gates of Heaven were crowded with loved ones waiting to welcome you home, but we will miss you like crazy on this side.

Rest in peace my dear brother - in - law. Frank Genta . We will miss you dearly. But we know you are in a much better place .

Today I celebrate and look back on so many memories of Frank Genta . Losing my grandpa at a young age I had the honor of meeting frank 8 years ago when Peter introduced us. I was immediately welcomed with open arms and have always been treated as one of the grandkids. I immediately fell in love with Grampy as everyone does. I wanted to thank the whole family for allowing me to share and be apart of his life. A man so amazing lives on in all the lives he has touched. Although I am not related by blood, he is and will always be my Grampy. I am so blessed that my children will have the pictures and the memories to look back at, and the stories we will be able to tell. Thank you for filling a piece of my heart that was missing from when I lost my grandpa. Again thank you Genta's for sharing this amazing man and always making me feel apart of the family. Celebrating 92 amazing years. Forever in my heart.

We will gather this evening in our chapel and remember Frank in our prayers. He helped to build this chapel, and he encouraged and supported our founding Sisters and the community they started. May he be embraced by the God that he loved so much.

Benjamin has been an altar boy since he was 7 years old. He has always been very reverent and I've always respected him for that. Even at a very young age he understood the miracle he was witnessing every day. Today he completed his training as an "Alpha" (kind of a servus maximus) and offered his Mass for my Uncle Frank Genta who passed away early this morning. Uncle Frank, you are my Godfather and by extension all of my kiddos consider you their "Grand-Godfather." There were little girl tears in my kitchen this morning at the news but fervent prayers for you at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass today by 6 children and one grateful God-daughter. I have always felt your prayers for me but never as strong as today. I love you Uncle Frank and I cry with you cousins Martha Huthmacher, Bill Genta, Susan Genta, John Genta, Francine Genta and Steve Genta and many others.

Thinking of my sweet great Uncle Frank and all those who love him. Heaven gained the sweetest angel today. Much love and prayers to all my Genta family. I'll miss you sweet man!

I prayed so hard for you yesterday Uncle Frank, when Susan said you had a fever and wanted to sleep more and more. I dident know it would be the last time I prayed for you though! Your resting in the arms of Jesus now!

The world lost SUCH an indescribably special person today, my great (and I do mean GREAT!) Uncle Frank . There's a certain type of person you only bump into a few rare times in this life-one who is kind and soft-spoken, witty and WISE, one who's very presence makes you feel that everything is right with the world. He was one of these people to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and someone we should all strive to be like. My heart is heavy with sadness this morning, knowing I won't hear his voice again or see any more of his sweet comments on Facebook (and that he won't pop up on my game apps anymore--making me giggle that a man in his nineties is so technically savvy lol) but I'm also so happy. You're on to your next great adventure, Uncle Frank, and I can't wait to hear more stories when we meet again!

Uncle Frank you are already missed.

Mr. Genta was my dads best friend. I have so many wonderful memories of this sweet man. I was fortunate to be able to say good by yesterday. Say hi to Joe and Dolores Mr. Genta. Love you

Heaven gained another saint today. Uncle Frank was truly one of the most faithful men I've ever known. Funny, smart, loving and put his faith at #1. When John and I visited CA last May we said a family rosary with him one night. It was and will be my most favorite memory of visiting Torrance. May we all grow stronger in our Catholic faith with the memory of this special man on our side. Uncle Frank, pray for us!

Today the world is a little less bright. Grandpa Frank, Frank Genta, was an amazing man and will be missed every day. I'm glad I was able to hold his hand and kiss him goodbye one last time on Sunday. I'm blessed to have been able to call him family and to have a father-in-law just like him. I love this photo celebrating his 90th birthday 2 years ago.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Frank Genta's children.
Losing Frank was a sad occasion for not only them, but to everyone of us who loved and respected him.

My Dear Cousins, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I pray you find peace and comfort in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope it brings you joy to know your dad brought much joy to me and that some of my fondest memories are of family gatherings making home made ice cream at the house and living down the block - welcome to come by anytime I wanted. Dear Genta family, we were all so saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved father (Uncle Frank to us). He was one of our father Joe Basile's dearest friends and we all have fond memories of your father and ours together. Your dad was a wonderful, kind, easygoing man and the world is a sadder place now he's gone. I'm sure that our parents and your mother were all there to greet him when he entered the pearly gates. Your family and ours have been linked together with so many stories, shared with the unwavering friendship Mr. Genta and our father Joe Walker had over the many years. Mr. Genta would always call everyone buddy and you knew he meant it with that fantastic smile and easy going way. My dad and you dad told several jokes and stories that we in my family still talk about when we talk about our parents. The world is a sadder place without Mr. Genta. One cannot tell how many jobs the both of them worked together, but rest assured that when Mr. Genta got to the pearly gates, he was met by, St. Peter, Mrs. Genta , Dolores and Joseph Walker, and my dad said, “Hay buddy, St. Joseph has a job he needs our help with.
