Frank A. Giuffra

Frank delivered candy to Keen's Pharmacy in Avalon where I worked during my school years in the early 50's. I still remember his smiling face and pleasant manner. My condolences to his family.

Frank was our candyman at our food stand on the boardwalk. It was always great to see him...he had a good sense of humor and positive attitude.

We'll miss you Frank.

It was just the other day that our family was talking about Frank and wondering how he was doing.
We own a campground and Frank served our store for many years.
We always looked forward to Spring when Frank would arrive always ready to serve us.
Our son was a police officer and when he would see Franks truck in Ocean City he would put a warning ticket on his windshield to tease him. Frank always got a kick out of that.
It was a sad day for us when we received a letter saying he could no longer serve us. I missed racing with him to see who could add his bill the fastest. He always added the bill with a pencil and I, with a machine. He always won.
When I asked him how he could still do what he did at his age, he simply said "Oatmeal, I eat Oatmeal every morning." Guess we younger folks should take a lesson from him.
He was a wonderful man. We will always remember him

Frank was our candy man in Ocean City in 1976. We had a store on the boardwalk and he always kept our supply case full. He was very friendly and kind. I will miss him. God bless you Frank.
