Frank KARWANDY

It was with much sadness that I learned of the recent passing of Frank, former Judge Advocate General (JAG) of the Canadian Forces (CF). On behalf of the Office of JAG (OJAG) and the entire JAG family, I offer my sincere condolences to the Karwandy family. Frank was a dedicated member of the CF, a true legal professional and a distinguished leader and mentor. His passion for the military, military law and the rule of law will never be forgotten. We thank him and his family for their selfless service and sacrifice to the OJAG, the CF and to Canada. His spirit lives on. FIAT JUSTITIA (Let Justice Prevail)

Condolences from my dad, John Karwandy who is Frank's cousin. My dad was born in 1925 but he only met Frank twice. Once in PEI and once in Alberta while he was in the RCAF. My dad is 91 and his wife, Yolande is 83. They live in Vermilion, Alberta. He sends his condolences to all of Frank's family.
