Frank got me into the real estate business a very long time ago. He was in the process of selling a couple of his buildings in early 1980's. I remember meeting with him to discuss buying a couple of his building. I was truly a greenhorn, new nothing about buying real estate apartment buildings. Still today, I thank my Lucky Stars I had the fortune to meet and know Frank. I thought of him today because I am very involved in the apartment buildings business and now it is time to train my son Jeff. All I can say to Jeff is" hope you can deal and be around people like Frank." He was such a Great mentor to me: helpful, very honest and a truly good person. I don't know what business I would be in today if I wouldn't have met Frank.
Frank made a big difference in my life and I think of him often.

My childhood memories are fondly imprinted with "Frank" moments...His kindness - always taking time to sincerely acknowledge you; His smile - he was always a such a good looking guy - even to a kid!; and his generosity - I know he always overpaid me for babysitting Mandee and Luke! May you rest in peace, Frank. You won't be forgotten. My love and sympathies to your family.

Frank was such a good friend to my sons growing up. He took Luke, his son, and my sons Sam and Joe to see Michael Jordan and the bulls
while I was out of town. What a friendly loving guy Frank was.

It has been many years since our family paths have crossed and we are saddened to hear about Frank. We remember his love for family, Luke and Mandee. We remember his upbeat spirit, his contagious laugh and his "always" giving heart. We remember the many stories told and "yes" the Kleckner name will always be a part of the "Juicy Lucy". Luke and Mandee, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Trust that your father will not be forgotten by many.

I have fond memories of your dad in the early 70's when friends and relatives went up to the lake. I am sorry for your loss, Luke and Mandee.

Through a child's eyes: Frank was my uncle and really the only father figure I had growing up. I have memories of being out in that leaky boat up at the cabin teaching me how to fish, and how to clean those fish. He taught me hunting, golfing, racquetball, and BBQ; he loved to BBQ. I will never forget his laugh, his smile, and his wittiness. He loved to joke and tell stories; I would introduce him to friends and he'd say I'm Franky Kleckeroni from the mob. Frank didn't take life to serious; I wish that I had just a small amount of his charisma and personality. I will miss you Frank, and you'll always be to me the best uncle one could ever have.
Thanks for being you,
Your nephew with love

I got to know Frank when Luke and I played tennis together at Luther College. Frank was that "cool dad" who came down to meets and had great stories about his own tennis playing days, gave great nicknames (thanks for the Iceman monikor Frank), and most of all always had a laugh. That is what I will remember the most about Frank, his infectious laugh. No matter if one of us had won 6-0, 6-0 or lost 0-6, 0-6 Frank always had a way to lighten the mood (and in some cases really tick Luke off!). I can honestly say that I never once had an encounter with Frank where by the end of it both he and I weren't laughing. What a great gift. And like Adam said, boy did he love Luke. We'll miss you Frank, thanks for the laughs!!!

He was a member of our Friday night poker group for the last 12-13 years. Everyone in the group has a lifetime of tennis in their background so Frank fit in perfectly. He was a fine card player but will be remembered for the little gifts he brought to games and his concern with how everyone else was doing in life. Our card games were filled with thousands of tennis stories, with Frank giving as good as he took. He always had a great smile and a twinkle in his eye. We played as always last Friday night and the first game was 7-27 in honor of Frank.
Our sympathies to his children Luke and Mandy and the rest of the Kleckner family.

Frank's name evokes some very nice memories from my South Mpls days with young children. Our adopted daughter, Jane, arrived from Vietnam at about the same time Mandee arrived at the Kleckner household from Korea -- they became neighborhood friends and Frank and I ran around Lake Nokomis and hit tennis balls together on many occasions. I was so sorry to learn of his untimely death. My thoughts go out to both Luke and Mandee.

Frank's name brings back such great memories, like running the AV Zoo 10 k together, sharing the same Aug 13th birthday, great neighbor always willing to help. Roger and Frank built our home and made it a good experience. We also shared some special memories being together in the father daughter Indian Princess program. Mostly I'll remember Frank for his big smile and always asking about how others were doing.
The Allstadt family wishes to send our sincere sympathy to the Kleckner family especially Mandy and Luke.

I'll remember Frank for a lot of fun times such as Birkshire tennis, The Kleckner Classic, always supplying us with watermelon and Gatorade, and taking us out for the Juicy Lucy. I will also remember his kindness and generosity, his ability to make people laugh, and how much he loved Luke. Frank will be missed. Love you Luke.
