Frank J. Massoni

My name is Steve Bohnstedt...my grandparents were Pete and Nella Scatena. I now live on the small ranch once owned by them, about a mile or so up river from Frank's place.
Fran holds a special place in the history of this baracca, and his smiling face will be missed by us. He was a MOST generous and thoughtful man.

Frank was a good friend to my grand parents and parents. He was a big help to my mom after my father passed away. I enjoyed talking to him and hearing his stories. Dear Frank rest in peace and condolences to his family.

Frank was a dear man and we loved him so much even though we didn't see much of him in recent years.

Frank and Larry's dad hunted together and Larry's always been so grateful for the friendship those two shared. When there was the possibility of flooding in Sacramento (boils were popping up along the river near us) a number of years back, Frank was so thoughtful and called us to see if we were okay.

Frank was a handsome man and had the softest face and way about him. We will never forget him.

We hope that the family will find peace in sharing all the wonderful memories of Frank--we are sure there are many for all of you.

May God be with you all and hold you closely as you each go through this time of mourning. We all do this in different ways and time.

A man I admired very highly with much respect and regard. I will miss you more than you know and I will honor you every 4th of July to pass. RIP Frank J. Massoni, Sgt. U.S. Army 3rd infantry division, WWII. thank you for all you have done for us. I thank you for being not only family, but also my friend. My condolences to all the Massoni family.
