Frank W. Nemick Mountainside resident was known around town driving his 1970 blue Cadillac convertible with his dog, 85 Frank W. Nemick, 85, of Mountainside, N.J., passed away at his home on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Visiting will be at the Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield, N.J., on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., with services beginning at 6:45 p.m. For Frank's complete life story, please visit dooleyfuneralservice.com. Mr. Nemick grew up in Newark, N.J., and lived in Elizabeth, N.J., before moving to Mountainside 42 years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Frank took over his father's business, Jo-Jo Produce, on Miller Street in Newark and continued the business with his son, Frankie, for 50 years. He was very athletic and participated in practically all sports throughout his life. Frank was known around town driving his 1970 blue Cadillac convertible with Marlee, the family's white German Shepherd, in the back seat. He loved spending time with her at the dog park in Echo Lake. Frank is survived by his wife, Joan, and their children, Dolores, Carolyn, and Frankie. He will also be missed by his sister, Helen Napolliello. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Fund.
