Rest in peace my friend. You gave it all and turned out to be one of the proudest servicemen in our class. Semper Fi Sir!

To Frank's family and friends,

I extend my deepest sympathies. He was honorable in his youth and lived an honorable life as a soldier. As an ex-military wife, I can certainly attest to both the joys and the sacrifices of that life.

While we are all saddened by his premature journey from us, I also take comfort seeing almost instantly the signing on of high school classmates. The year of 1969 was truly blessed with a strong bond and respect of relationships.

In my prayers,

Carol Schwarder

Happy Trails to You, my old friend and classmate. At our 40th class reunion you told me I was the only girl you'd ever taken to a prom. I felt honored. I am sorry to learn you've gone ahead of many of us...but we'll all join you one day. God bless your family with strength to endure their loss. Affectionately, Lorry Junt Perkins

Oh Frank....I am so sorry to hear that you have passed. It was such a shock and sooo soo sad for me to learn this. I remember coming up to you at the 40th class reunion upstairs when there was just a few of us left closing out the night where we had just had our reunion get together with everyone. I looked around and there you were sitting, just as calm as you always were.... talking to just a few of our close friends that we had always hung out with. I sat down next to you on the end because that was the only seat available and just listened to everyone's conversation. You turned around and said to me. "You're sitting here because you know you're safe with me and I won't hit on you." I said, "yep, you're right....this is where I thought I should be." We had a nice long chat about our lives and how far we had come and we parted ways with a big hug. Little did I know that would be our last and final conversation. I will miss seeing you at the next class reunion. You were one of the good guys, Frank and I will truly miss you and our friendship. Love, Nita

I knew Frank from High School, and he was always friendly. That was appreciated because HIgh School can be a tough time for some of us.

I met Frank a long time ago thru a mutual friend (Don Mace) and we all spent many hours riding our motorcycles, and attending High School together. I became close with his Mom and Dad and enjoyed hearing the stories of Germany. Frank was a friend and a fellow Veteran. I always told him how impressed I was of him going thru Officer Candidate School when he was in his 30's. Rest in peace Frank.
