Frank Paul Palantoni, 67, of
Danville, California, passed away on September 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, accomplishment, and devotion to family. Born on September 20, 1957, in Malden, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Frank A. Palantoni and Elisa C. (Schiavone) Palantoni, and the beloved brother of Joyce Garafano.
Frank often reflected with pride on the progress of his family across generations. His father, a cable splicer who studied on the GI Bill, set a foundation of hard work and perseverance. Frank built upon that legacy, graduating from Tufts University in 1979, he went on to earn his MBA from Columbia Business School.
Frank enjoyed a distinguished career in the consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical industries. He began at Procter & Gamble, later joining Nabisco, before spending a decade with Danone that brought him and his family to France and New Zealand. Returning to the United States, he held senior leadership roles at Novartis and Gerber. In more recent years, he was energized by new ventures at Kenvue.
Despite his many professional accomplishments, Frank's proudest role was being a father to his three sons: Michael (Becky), Alex (Kate), and Mark (Linda). After the passing of his wife, Betsey (LeSaffre) Palantoni, in 2004, Frank devoted himself to raising his boys-a responsibility he cherished most deeply and carried with devotion, strength, and love. His family grew to include four grandchildren: Luke, Madeline, Jack, and Maya-each of whom brought him immeasurable joy.
In later years, Frank found love again with his wife, Brenda Zwas, with whom he shared more than a decade of love, companionship, and adventure.
Frank will be remembered for his deep sense of responsibility as a provider and protector, his adventurous spirit, and his devotion to family. He took pride in the life he built, the places he explored, and the home he cared for so meticulously. Whether tending to his garden, making homemade pizza, or solving the latest DIY project, Frank found meaning in caring for his surroundings and those he loved.
His strength, wisdom, and love will endure in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate to know him.
