Sorry to hear about Mr. Parrish passing, I had known him all my life and thought of him as a fine person. I was born on the old farm.

Two wonderful men came out of the Becker Community, one was my Father Homer Parrish, the other was his Brother Frank Parrish, both were honest hardworking and could be depended on in any situation. I loved them both and I thank God for them both, they were the fabric that holds a Great Country togather. I will never forget either of them and our World was a better place because of them. Joyce never let your Grandchildren forget what wonderful Man Uncle Frank was.

My Father, Johnnie N. Parrish, Sr. and Frank were cousins. I first met Frank in 1943 or '44 when my Dad and I visited Frank at WBAP when it was atop the Medical Arts Building. The next visit I recall was in 1949 at the TV studios in the Meadowbrook section of town where ny Dad and I visited Frank and he gave us a tour of the FIRST TV STATION WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI. I was a graduate student of Radio Engineering and held a Radio Telephone First Class License and later worked at three different radio stations. The latest being KCLE in Cleburne. Following in Frank's footsteps, I retired as a Licensed Electronic Technician for the Santa Fe Railroad after 42 years service.

My younger sister Mary Ann Parrish has been better acquainted with the entire family for several years. She and I plan on attending the memorial services for a GREAT GENTLEMAN and visiting with the family.

Frank and Peggy were truly special people. As fellow members of the Twosome Class, we enjoyed an Alaskan cruise with them years ago and found them to be delightful traveling companions. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
