I only knew Frank for three years, but he was my next-door neighbor, and he made an immense impact on me.
He is one of the kindest men I have ever met. He helped me out whenever he could with snow shoveling, and he would never take anything in return for his generosity. I always tried shoveling his driveway and sidewalk before he got up so at least I could return the favor haha.
He was humble, smart, funny, and always upbeat. I miss him dearly, it was such a comfort knowing such a nice person was next-door.
He was one of those special human beings that make the world a better place, and I am so honored to have known him.

When I was in the third grade, I was on the Holy Savior football team with Frank and John Quilici, Dan Farren, Jim Ceserani, Chuck Orlich, Joe Sutey, Billy Matioli, John Benski, Billy Anzik, Frank and Louis Spear, Frankie Piazzolla, Chauncy Dunstin, Neil Sconfienza, Billy Kasun, Mark Ciabattari, Peter Petritz, and many more that I am no longer able with whom to put a name and I am sure that my spelling isn't accurate in some cases.
We won the citywide Catholic football championship that year beating St. John on which team my cousins Jerry and Tommy Laird played (Their father Tom Laird was their coach).
I think that it must have been the first year that Holy Savior had a football team. I still have the team picture taken in front of the church on the steps with our rag tag uniforms with a few mis-matched football jerseys, shoes, pants, and helmets of all shapes and sizes.
I never kept in touch with many of these classmates but when a name pops up like Frank's, I remember playing football with him and the rest. It was fun back then.
My sincere condolences to the family.

Frank Quilici was a wonderful, kind and generous person and friend of mine and loyal citizen of Butte. I was lucky to grow up with him and his brother Red in Meaderville and McQueen. Played football, basketball and baseball with him. Graduated together from Holy Savior in 55 and Central in 59. He kept in touch with our class members and kept us connected.
Knew Norma and Baldy well. The Quilici´s lived next to the Holy Savior Church. Will never forget the winter day that Mrs Quilici, who had a watchful eye, phoned my mother to tell her that my brother Joe and I had just hooky-bobbed the bus in front of the Church on our way home from grade school. We were busted as my mom caught us red-handed when we unhooked at Willow St. Thanks for such great memories to the neat Quilici family.
It is just hard to believe that it will never be the same without Frank welcoming us back to Butte with his smile for a class reunion, concert, Evil Knievel days, or the 4th of July. Frank was always there to pay his respects at funerals of our loved ones.
My deepest sympathies to the Quilici and related Ang Petroni and Frank Ralph families and especially his devoted nieces.
Frank, I hope that our spirits will meet again.

I've known Frank all of my life. I was younger than Frank so some of my earliest memories are of Frank and John babysitting me as our parents visited. As I grew older, I would attend various sporting events that Frank and John were involved in. As I became an adult, and moved to Billings, I didn't see him as often.
When my mom moved to Billings in 1994, we made an annual trek back to Butte every Memorial Day weekend. Norma, Frank's mother, would have us over for lunch. When she passed away, Frank took up the mantle and every Memorial Day weekend we would meet for lunch and the next day breakfast. That weekend we would also have dinner with my cousins Teresa and Helen Romano. When they passed away, Frank was there again, assuming the mantle, and dinner became an annual event as well. Frank never missed breakfast, lunch, and later dinner, for all those years even after my mom passed away. He could have gone on vacation or he might have been sick, but he was always there. In recent years we started meeting in Bozeman to attend Bobcat football games.
I say all of this to point out that the definition of loyalty is Frank Quilici. I'm going to immensely miss those annual gatherings with Frank. Rest in peace my good, loyal, and faithful friend.

Frank was one of my most favorite cousins. Every time we saw each other I learned more and more history about our family. I think I have 3 hand drawn genealogies. He knew who belonged to who and birthdays and how we were all related. I am running out of family in that age group that knows all this information. Love you Frank and I will miss you.
