I will always remember Frank with his Great Danes in that wonderful Victorian House. But mostly, I will remember him as funny and kind; he never made mother-in-law jokes about me!

Frank Reilly was a fine person and teacher who left a lasting impression in my life. Without a doubt, the best faculty member at Boyle during my years there (Class of 74). The guys from Hazelwood fondly referred to Mr. Reilly as "Ice" simply because he was cool. My thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family.

I was greatly saddened this morning to open the Post-Gazette and read of Frank's passing. He was one of the first people I met when I started in the Public Defender's office some 29 years ago. He was always reserved, gracious and a gentleman. Those qualities lasted through all the years and were exhibited each time I met him in the courthouse or on the street. It was my pleasure to know him and wish his family and close friends my sympathy at his passing.

I had your loved one as my attorney. I am sorry for your loss. He fought extremely hard in my defense. I am grateful for his resilience. He gave me a second chance and I never looked back again. It was a misdemeanor case by never the less since I had never been in trouble or never planned to be. It was really big to me and Mr. Reilly was very patient with me. I have never forgot him and never will.
Again I am sorry for your loss. The system lost a good attorney.

It was with deep regret that I found that Frank had passed. Through the years of practice I've come to know him as professional and gentile. In a place where the work can make one hardend and jaded...Frank was able to keep a fresh outlook and compassion for all.

I was saddened to read of Frank's passing. He was a gentleman and collegial professional with whom I was privileged to have worked in the Ct. of Common Pleas. Please accept my condolences.

I would like to extend my sincere sympathy in learning of Frank's passing. He was a tireless advocate for his clients, a worthy adversary in court, and a true gentleman and friend to all whose lives he touched. Thank you Frank especially for your kind words of support to me in dealing with my the cancer diagnosis that touched my own family. You truly were loved and will be missed.

I knew Frank through his girlfriend and constant companion, Janis Surman. Frank was always there to cut the grass, walk the dog, and lend a helping hand. He loved Janis very much and boasted about her decorating talents while I attended a party that Janis had for Daisy at his lovely home. Frank had a very kind and gentle way about him, and was humble despite his success as a lawyer and businessman. I will miss him but I will remember him fondly when I take walks with Janis and Daisy in Highland Park. God Bless You.

To Friends and Family of Frank,
Our deepest sympathy to you in this sad time. We all remember Frank and his family from growing up a cross the street from his parents house. He was always really nice to all three of us . Our hearts go out for you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

It was a pleasure to meet Frank for the first time in June 2000. Over the intervening years I heard many good things about Frank. I was saddened when Frank's health became a serious issue and certainly morn his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. CW

Frank was truly one-of-a-kind. He was funny, irreverent, kind, loving and smart--a wonderful combination of traits. And his commitment to defending criminals was unflagging throughout his career--even when he suspected that they were guilty! The world has lost one of the great ones.
My heart goes out to Bill and Janis.
I trust that Frank is now laughing with the clan of Aunt Rose and all the other Reillys who have gone before him. Although he has ended his journey on earth, he will live on in our hearts and memories. I was so lucky to have him in my life!
