Frank D. Risner

Risner, Frank D. 12/7/1932 - 4/4/2015 Age 82, of Saranac passed away April 4, 2015 in Cedar Springs, MI. He was born December 7, 1932 in Clayton, MI the son of George and Pocahontas (Howard) Risner. Frank married Ruth Ann Sebring February 3, 1958 in Ionia. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and life member of the NRA. He loved spending time outdoors, especially in Colorado where he loved to Hunt, Fish and Hike. Frank is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Risner of Saranac. Children, Chris Risner and Barbara Harrington of Saranac, Brett (Ruth) Risner of Saranac and Valerie (John) Sarniak of Cedar Springs. Grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) Risner of Saranac, Shanda Risner of Saranac, Kristen Sarniak of Cedar Springs, Logan Risner of Saranac, Kendyn Sarniak of Cedar Springs and Spencer Risner of Saranac. Brothers, David Risner of Colorado, Richard (Faye) Risner of Orangeville and Larry Risner of Orangeville. Sisters, Ruthella Patrick of Orangeville, Josephine Bailey of Belding and Barbara (Donald) Patrick of Ionia. Two Great Grandchildren, Audy Risner and Brayden Eaton. His beloved dog, Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his son, Audie Risner; brothers, Clayton, Elmer, Ollie, Ray, and Ted and sister, Dora Lee Howard. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. Visitation will be on Tuesday 4-7 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
