We just heard of the passing of Mr. Zullo and are very saddened by the news. He was always caring and friendly and we enjoyed their company often when they visited us at John's Best Restaurant.
We were honored to know him and he will be missed.

MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES

MY prayers go out to Mrs.Zullo and her daughter. I was born, raised and lived in Norwalk for 60 years and as a kid I even pumped his gasoline at Bill Bayless's gas station for years. "The Mayor" was one of the smartest, kindest and funniest people that I ever had the pleasure to have known. He was also, hands down "THE BEST DARN MAYOR" that Norwalk has ever had! No mayor has even come close. Not one ! And whenever I would run into him in my last years in town, he was always "Mr. Mayor" to me.
So rest in peace", Mr. Mayor. I'm sure that the Lord can use a good attorney and a really good trumpet player up there. And I hear that there aren't many lawyers there these days. Kevin McClellan

I remember Mayor Zullo many years ago when I was in school. He left an impression on me as being such a nice person. Rest in Peace.

My deepest condolences to the Zullo family. I known Frank for over 50 years. I met him shortly after moving to Norwalk 1965. He appointed me to the board of estimate taxation, and I got to see him first hand as mayor of Norwalk. He was outstanding as mayor. I have nothing but the highest respect for his abilities, integrity, and professionalism. In my eyes, He was a great man. His passing is a great loss to Norwalk and Connecticut.
