Frankie Foster

Frankie Joe Foster passed from this world in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 19, 2010, into the waiting arms of the Heavenly Father and his loving parents, Domicle and Luther Foster.Frankie was born April 9, 1949, in Caddo Mills. He worked as a machinist for Walker McDonald for 25-plus years. Mr. Foster was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He married Irene Gracy on Sept. 4, 1976, in Farmersville; they were married 33 years. Frankie is survived by his loving wife; one daughter, Lesa Foster Buck and husband Don; three sons, Jeff Foster and wife Sabrina and Randy Foster, all of Greenville, and Micheal Gracy and wife Sonya of McKinney; nine grandchildren, Derrick Holley, Brad Gracy, Jacob Buck, Scott Foster, Kaden Foster, Kyle Foster, Audra Buck Waddle, Jarrod Buck and Nick Buck; four great-grandchildren, Layla Carter Holley, Karsen Waddle, Jaxson Waddle and Brenden Holley; a sister, Linda Saenz and Ray Williamson; and a brother, Tom Foster and wife Mercedes.Frankie was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jennie Foster Bowers; and a brother, Waldo Foster.Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Brad Strand officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Pallbearers are Steve Krodle, Jessie Morris, Bill Cleveland, Allen Blunt, James Cast and John Paul Willaby.
