Franklin Covey Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 1, 2019.
Franklin Stephen Covey, 4/4/1947 - 2/28/2019, San Diego, CA - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to share that Frank Covey, also known as Steve, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the comfort of his home. Frank was raised in Crawfordsville, Indiana. After graduating high school, Frank made his way to San Diego, California via the Marine Corps where he met his wife Janyce. They celebrated 51 years of marriage last November. After returning from the Vietnam War, Frank went on to become a machinist until his retirement. Frank is survived by his wife, Janyce; daughter, Rita and her husband, David; daughter, Lisa and her husband, Mark; granddaughters, Britany, Kelli, and Emily; brother, James; sisters, Lois, Penny, and Janet; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's San Diego (alzsd.org) in his memory, in honor of his wife Janyce. Frank will be laid to rest in Military Funeral Honors at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122 on March 15, 2019 at 9am.
