I enjoyed my Friday night conversations with Marsh. Topics were varied and always fun and on the edge. I miss him

A few things that you could count on from Marsh was kindness; a good long drawn out story, even if you had heard it a hundred times, he told it again and again with the same descriptive flourish; and that he would be wearing one of his catchy phrase tee shirts, one of a kinds, and he would gladly explain, at length, their meaning to friend and stranger alike. His aim was to help, to offer some humor, a cause to smile, to be of service in any manner that he felt he could to make life a little easier for someone else. He also deeply loved and adored his daughter. These are truths that cannot be denied. Rest in peace, Marsh.

One of my earliest and most vivid memory of Marsh is seeing this very, very tall man somehow fitting into a convertible MG when he and Jackie would come over to our house to visit on Mercer Island. I remember Marsh always being such a nice man, caring, interested, interesting and funny. No wonder he and my dad Bill became BFF's for over 50 years. I will forever carry the best memories of Marsh over the course of my life. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.
