Dad, it would be your birthday today. I light a candle for you, but the light you shone for all of us will never go out. Hope you are dancing and singing. Love and miss you.
Dara.

I was just thinking of you this week. And I was marveling that it will have been 40 years in January, 2022 since our lives crossed paths. For only a short time we occupied the same location- but forever since, you have lived in my heart. You made me so much more of the best I could be and I love you for it-- forever more.

We have wonderful, sentimental and funny memories of our time in Hong Kong with Frank, in both business and social encounters. We're glad to have had the opportunity to rehash them together during our visits in Durham. Rest in peace, dear friend; you'll live in infamy in our stories of the Hong Kong days.

Franklin was rare indeed. He was my close friend for over 40 years and he was everything previously said... Charismatic, Sincere, Generous, Helpful, Visionary with a heart of pure Gold. He will be missed not only for his wit and sense of humor, but for his loyalty and largess. He was a true pioneer and a genuine friend. I will miss him greatly. My most sincere condolences to Dara and Patti.

Franklin was a great friend, loyal, funny, kind, understanding, always there when you needed him. He did it all, he had " La joie de vivre" a kid at heart, he had vision, always ahead of his time. He had class, amazing taste, but most of all he had the strength and tenacity rarely matched, and yet the kindest heart and always a gentleman. " Franklin you did it all big and small with class, grace, and you did it your way"
I love you my friend, rest in peace in the hearts of the ones who love you.

Since the age of 5, am now 59, Frank Wittenberg has been a big part of my family and especially me. I have so many great memories of overseas. My "Uncle Frank" gave me my first job washing cars at his lot in Frankfurt Germany. . .he helped me buy my first motorcycle from his lot...he taught me the importance of earning an honest days wages. He taught me how to make sure that I always "gave" to others and volunteered my time.
I will never forget my Aunt Norma, Uncle Franks wife. He had a smile and a voice like an angel.
His daughter, Dara, is so Blessed to have been such an important part of his life. He always spoke of her to me and we all had such great times together in Durham.
I will miss my Uncle Frank, perhaps more than I can imagine. I always looked to him for his advice and guidance. My Mom was always so fond of him, as he was of her.
So many lasting memories....I love you, Uncle Frank...I am sure that he is already in touch with my Dad and they are making big plans. They always did.
