To Chris & Mary - It appears your father had quite a run. A very full life and lots of adventure. But I'm so sorry he had to see Peter go before him.
I'll always be grateful to him for allowing me and Janine the use of the house for our wedding. We'll have pictures and memories forever that honor that setting.
May his memory be a blessing to you and your families.
Our condolences. We are very sorry for your loss. Even when their passing is expected the loss is substantial, real and heartfelt.
Our best to you

Fred was a true gentleman in the best sense of the word. Loyal, committed, generous and self-effacing. He bridged barriers separating people easily. Well done Fred!Rick Stege

Fred Ball embodied all the best of Bratenahl. He had a passion for the community evidenced by his long tenure as a member of Village Council His guidance as I first joined Bratenahl's government is something I will always remember. Fred Ball was special! He was unaffected, he was humorous, and he cared about his family, his friends and his community. And (especially considering all the tragedy he lived through) was one of the most positive people I knew. My best to his family - especially his son Chris.

I hold many fond memories of this legendary Bratenahl resident and impressive soul. Fred always gave his best to help anyone. His passion for all things Bratenahl made so much possible. His service to Bratenahl Place will never be forgotten. Fred's gentle, wise and caring nature were always a comfort and will remain an inspiration. My heart and prayers are with the family.
