Dear Margie,
We know Fred is so proud of you as you carry on every day since his passing. May God continue to bless you every day.

My father, David Thomas, went to high school with Fred. I remember Dad talking about Fred and the good times they had together in Evanston. Told my siblings of Fred´s passing, and we all agreed Dad will be thrilled to see his buddy once again. My sincerest condolences for your loss.

Dad, I will miss the great father and mentor you were to me. Your love was always felt by me and your entire family. I am so happy that you got to hold your new great grandson this past month and spend time with all of us this past summer. I know that you are in a better place with David, your son, who was tragically taken from all of us and with your parents. I will think of you daily until my time comes and I can see you again in heaven. You lived a great life and gave so much more back to others than you took. If I could be 50% the man your were, I would consider that a great accomplishment. Miss you more than you will ever know! Love your son, Scott
