Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

January 19, 2010

Pat, it was so nice talking with you today. On behalf of my mom Betty Doran and all of us I would like to offer our sincerest condolences to you and all of the Haunreiter family. I have always felt as though I knew you personally as my mom always spoke so fondly of the "Haunreiters" of Chehalis, Washington. I was born in Raymond and we lived in Chehalis before moving back East to Atlantic City, N.J.
Please tell everyone that Betty is thinking of her dear friends Fritz and Mouse. I am glad the blanket has been put to good use over the years. All the best, Pat Doran

To the Haunreiter family. I never met all of you but always felt I knew you because of the way my mother Betty Doran so fondly spoke of the Haunreiter family of Washington. I
was born in Raymond and we lived in Chehalis before moving back to Atlantic City N.J.
Pat, it was great finally speaking with you and on behalf of my mother and the Dorans I offer my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Pat Doran, Brigantine N.J.

I was Virginia's hospice nurse and came to know Fred during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Fritz was a very nice man and am so excited for him because he is with his sweetheart now; what a blessing for him.

To all concerned, We will forever miss uncle Fritz as well as aunt Virginia. They were wonderful people. I always admired his woodworking and carpentry skills. Seems to run in the family. To Kathy, Tom, Pat and Fred we send our sincerest condolences. Love, Jerry and Carla Haunreiter

Just yesterday I told my wife about the good times "Fritz" and I had playing in the little house Mr. Haunreiter built for the kids. Growing up in a small town like Chehalis and playing with a small group of friends leave us with wonderfully warm feelings that nothing can compare to . My thoughts are with your family, Fritz......may all the cigarettes you roll out of Indian tobacco taste just as good as those we rolled back then.

Kathy, Pat, Tom and Fred and families,

We were sorry to get the call about your father's death. Both your parents were wonderful people and so good to us, especially in the early years of our marriage. We have wonderful memories of both of them, especially the generosity they showed in opening their home for family gatherings for so many years. Losing our parents is never easy but remember the good times, the good moments - time heals and those sick days, difficult days become forgotten. You were all blessed to have such great parents and grandparents.

Take care all of you..

I remember meeting Fred for the first time when he came to see me about establishing a scholarship in loving memory of his wife. She was a caregiver he had said, and wanted to assist students entering health professions. Fred was a compassionate man himself, and I enjoyed the meetings we had over the years. I held him in high esteem as an example of a man who quietly became a standard bearer to the many young people he assisted because of his generosity and love for his wife.

Pat & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. We also have lost both our parents, Dad in 2004 and Mom in 2008. It's never easy losing a parent, but take comfort in knowing they are together again. You are in our prayers.
