Fred Miller Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 5, 2025.
Fred Miller

Fred passed away at the age of 66 on April 24th, 2025 surrounded by his daughters and best friend Lucinda at home. He was a beloved father to Debra, Tara, Amber, and Amanda. He was an incredibly proud Papa of 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Though it feels like Fred left this world too soon, he did live a long and exciting life. From the various jobs he worked to the adventures he took across the country. Fred was never one to stop moving, except when he fished or was cooking.

Fred always had amazing stories; in fact, his son-in-law said, "My biggest regret was not getting to hear all of his stories and writing a best seller about his life."

But the greatest thing about Fred was his heart. He had a strong heart that kept him going even after his other organs had failed him. His strength must have come from his kindness. Fred had a smile that lit up every room and his great mood was infectious. Fred was always looking out for those around him. He helped anyone when he could; even when it may hinder his own life. He never expected thanks or a favor in return and was simply happy with knowing he could make a difference in a positive way.

I knew all the Miller's from school and I worked at El Carlos's in 1978. Fred lived across from me in 2005 and I was getting married and I accidentally knocked my earring down the sink drain. I went running next door and asked Fred if he could please help me. He took my sink apart and found my earring, and put my sink back together. I will miss you Fred.

My Father , Keith MacKendrick was actually Fred's cousin. So I never got the chance to meet him, but online I did, he was a beautiful soul. My thoughts and Prayers are with the Family. God Bless you all.
