Fred Mirmiran was an amazingly generous man, a great role model and a truly beautiful soul! He gave me my first engineering job, supported me unconditionally, encouraged me to aim high, made me feel special and encouraged me to concur the world! I am deeply thankful for his generous heart and the opportunity he provided me over thirty years ago! I am who I am because of him ♥
We all will sorely miss his inspiring leadership and kind heart.

Please accept our deepest sympathy.
Fred was a hard working, generous soul.
He provided , our family too, with opportunity to work hard and succeed.
Our nephew, fresh out of the army, needed a start with his engineering degree. Fred gave him that.
Our nephews a successful man today, in part, due to Freds willingness to give him a chance.
You will surely hear this kind of story from many.
We think of Fred on every visit to the Kennedy Kreiger Garden.
Fondly,
Bob & Mary Jane Schroeder

I will remember Fred for his inspiring leadership in philanthropy and supportiveness of a family-oriented business culture at JMT. Fred's leadership will be missed at JMT and within the Engineering Community, but I'm sure that his legacy of philantropy will endure beyond our own lifespans. I will keep Fred's family, friends and my fellow coworkers in my prayers.

On the evening of my fathers death, Fred Mirmiran spent several hours with me comforting me and pulling me through that difficult time. He urged me to spend my remaining days living a life that would make my father proud. Great advice well received. Thank you for that my friend.
Fred was a devoted husband and father, a loyal friend, a more than generous member of our community and a recognized leader of the engineering profession. He will be missed by his family, his many friends and professional colleagues.
May God bless you and your wonderful family.
