I knew Fred through S&T Bancorp where he served as a director. While we didn“t interact frequently, I enjoyed his uplifting spirit. That spirit was memorable from first meeting him.

Jennifer and I had met Fred about a half dozen times. But we talked about him often with the love of his life, Debbie, who we have known for years. So it was through and because of Debbie that we got to know Fred.
Fred and Debbie were so good for each other, and complimented each other so well. Debbie filled a huge space in Fred's heart, and Fred did the same in Debbie's.
Fred had told us that he had rarely been as happy with his life as he was after he met Debbie. Fred would tell us about his two wonderful children, each unique in their own way. And Debbie made his life complete. They fit together like two pieces in a jig saw puzzle. It is a shame that their relationship was cut short. They gave each other so much, but had so much more to give.
Jennifer and I pass along our sympathies to Fred's family, friends, and his love Debbie. All will miss Fred tremendously.

I did not know Fred well, but he helped many people, including my husband in their walk with God. When there is loss in a well loved Christian family, there is sadness in all of us.

Friends like Fred are neither easily missed nor forgotten. He possessed a unique set of talents and skills----wonderful analytically but with a tremendous sense of humor that could make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in even the most difficult of circumstances. I treasure the wonderful memories that I have of this gentle man and feel terribly blessed to have enjoyed his friendship for many years. He leaves a hole in the hearts of so many. My condolences go out to Lauren, Freddie, Debbie and so many others that were lucky enough to have this great man in their lives.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write of the news of the loss of a very good friend so near and dear to my heart, and the hearts of so many. I am especially sad for Lauren and Freddie who have lost a wonderful, caring Dad. He was so very proud of his children.
Fred was a good friend to so many. In fact, going back to the late 1980's, the old Rolodex could never house all of his contacts because he had so many!
I will miss his honesty, wisdom, and many stories, and most of all his laughter and one-of-a kind expressions that leave me with a smile.
Fred, I know you are in a better place...a place where you have no doubt found your peace.
Miss you buddy.

Fred was a special caring person, who deserved a longer time. I was fortunate to know him initially thru business, but carried the relationship happily long after that. Always happy, always smiling, always positive. If you had a bad day and needed karma...you could always call Fred. Everyone he touched will miss him.

Fred Morelli was a prince among men. I have known him since early 1981 when I joined him at Alpern Rosenthal. We became partners together in 1982 and worked together for many years. Fred had the best sense of humor of anyone I have ever known. He had wonderful nicknames for all of us. He could inspire a comatose mouse to take action. I am devastated by his loss. Who will ever call me Eddie Le Gourmet again?
Lauren and Freddie, your father will be missed by you and everyone he touched. Know how blessed you were for the time you had with him!

Fred was the best person I have ever known! I was blessed to have him as my partner, best friend, family, travel companion and soul mate. It took us a long time to find each other and our time together was far too short, but our love has no boundaries. That he had so many wonderful people who have loved and supported him for many years is a testament to the quality of his character. I know he has found peace in heaven. I miss you my love! - Little Debbie

I had the opportunity to interact professionally with Fred in the past few years. He was a very friendly, honorable, gracious and fair man.
Death is a comma, not a period in a person's life. Knowing Fred's Christian Faith, I am certain that today, on the other side of that comma, Fred is now at everlasting peace and comfort with his Lord.
