When we were small children Fred lived only a block away. We started first grade together and grew up from there. As old friends die I see part of my life fade away but memories never die or disappear. I have the fondest memories of Fred. He was a great guy. He will be missed but not forgotten. Charlie and family - I've thought of Coach Schindler many times over the years since he coached the Bobcats Little League team. His kindness and compassion for all was unforgetable to the young boys who were around him, of which I was fortunate to be one. Even in the picture above you can see his truly genuine smile, and the ever present twinkle in his eyes which you know is there today as he is watching us from above. He will be missed here.
My best to you all,
Jerry Vogel
