Freda Raines Pitts

Mrs. Freda Raines Pitts, age 88, longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019. She is preceded in death by her son, Dennis Pitts, three brothers, Winfred Raines, Joe Raines, Ben Raines, sister, Nell Ridgeway and parents, Ben L. and Cora Raines. Freda was employed for many years as a receptionist at Radney Funeral Home, in Saraland, AL. She is survived by her children; Golvia Sims (Jimmy), Dale Pitts (Debbie), Brenda Johnson (Lewis) and Roger Pitts (Debra). She is also survived by her brothers, Larry (Pat) Raines, Bobby (Linda) Raines and Charles Raines, eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Chapel services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
