Ms Harlow,Teresa and Beverly,

I am so sorry. We were out of town on vacation but the police dept did call me. Skeet will always be with us. Me and that boy go back a long way. I am just lost for words. Prayers are with you.

It is very sad to hear this about Skeet - when I was a lot younger, he was an officer in Pell City. I worked at a convenience store where he and the other police officers came in - he was always in such a good mood. He was always polite and very nice & respectful to everyone. He will be missed!

Skeet, when I was little staying at your house and being with you and Teresa was magical. You always made me laugh til the tears were flowing. With love, Beth Anne

Teresa:

Just heard the news from Mom. So sad. Can't believe that darlin' cute kid that played with you and me has passed before us.

I have such a clear memory of the morning of a summer spend-the-night with you in Granny's old house - in Eastlake? We were out on the back drive - that big steep hill behind. Skeet couldn't have been but 5 or so. He was being a real pain about going back inside to change out of his pajamas. That whole picture came back to me clear as a bell.

Love you, Teesy!

Dearest Beverly,Barbara and Teresa,

We know you are so overwhelmed with grief at this time. Our only consolation is knowing he truly is inside Heaven's gate now. The obituary is lovely. God bless and keep you.
