FREDERIC "FRED" KWAI TIN CHUN, 88, of Honolulu, died June 24, 2008. Born in Honolulu. Past president and chairman of the board of Chun Kim Chow, Ltd. and Emma Kwock Chun, Corp.; developer of many properties, including Punahou Circle, Waikiki Circle, McCully Circle, Cartwright Apartments, Hilo Lanes, Chun Kim Chow Warehouse, Embassy House and Towers Apartments; director, vice president of City Bank; vice chairman and treasurer of Bancshares; chairman of the board and president of Citibank Properties Inc. Survived by wife, Ruby; sons, Theron and Raynard; daughters, Cheryl Kong and Gwyned Lum; sister, Victoria Fong; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Visitation 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Diamond Head Mortuary; eulogy and speakers 11:30 a.m.; Taoist services throughout; burial 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. No flowers, Aloha attire.
