I was saddened to hear of Freds passing and know he will be missed greatly by family and friends. Fred was a kind and genoeous man and truly cared about people. He had a great laugh, when I took things a little to seriously for one reason or another At Bechtel 1968/69, as my coach Fred would lighten the moment by saying " that's ok rose would say don't ya worry none there'll be good times bye and bye next fall when the work gets done" I think of him often and will continue too.

We are so sorry to hear of Fred's passing.
It was always a great joy to spend time with Fred at the Garrison Curling Club. He was a beautiful soul, a true gentleman.

We spent 10 years in Calgary when we moved there from Toronto in 1983. Pat & Fred Britton were one of the first couples we had the pleasure of meeting, and we've remained close friends for these past 30 years.
We used to enjoy getting together with Pat & Fred and other members of the Newcomers and the Wine Tasting groups.
We particularly remember the many New Year's Eve's we celebrated together.
Fred was always the perfect host and the perfect gentleman. And that's how he will be remembered by both of us.

Pat, so sorry for your loss, Fred was a great guy and we actually worked on a couple of Bechtel projects. First was Temagami and then Baie Comeau. I live in Edmonton and have since 1972. You knew me as Jean Becker. If you e-mail, here is my address: [email protected]
