Frederick J. Curley M.D.

We just received a letter from Dr. Curley's office and are deeply saddened by his death. Three members of my family were lucky enough to be treated by Dr. Curley, whose kindness, compassion, and gentle nature helped us through many difficult times.

Dr. Curley is irreplaceable to us. He was a treasure in this world.

To his family: I wish you peace, love, and hope as you find your way through this difficult loss.

First, Fred was my doctor. Then he was my client. Finally, he was my friend, I hope.

I just heard today of Freds passing as I am away I wont be able to make the services..I am so sorry for your family's great loss ! He was My pulmonary Dr.for 35 years,meeting him at Umass when I was just 18 as a severe asthmatic patient! I just want you all to know he was a very caring Doctor Who has treated me many times in the icu.. He was a very kind and compassionate Dr. I have already missed him so much at my last few appointments. I will miss his knowledge and straight foward advice and most of all that great smile♡♡ May you rest in sweet peace Dr.Curley will be greatly missed ! Hugs to the family♡

I met Dr. Curley many years ago at Umass hospital. I was a severe asthmatic at the time. He was an amazing physician and I believe he saved my life. Dr. Curley was a physician that took time to listen and educate, had patience, and really made me feel like he cared. My current physician was mentored by him and in many ways is alot like him. I am grateful that Dr. Curley was part of my life. I am sure he will be missed by many.

It was my privilege to have been a high school classmate of Fred. Even then Fred was a mature and caring man. Never chiding but gently nudging his less mature, callow classmates out of harms way. RIP Fred.

As one of Dr Curley patients I am feeling a great loss of a great Dr. man and friend. Having been under his care for over 15 years even after moving to Pa. I continued under his care. He was always there for me and so many others.
