Pam and I spent so many memorable times with Fred. He and I were skiing, golfing, Porsche Racing pace car driver and communicator partners and Colorado backcountry Jeep explorers. My wife and I had many great times with Fred as well as dinners where we shared a glass of McCallum Scotch or wine.
We first met at Beaver Creek skiing when he skied by me and yelled out ". You ski pretty good for a "Southern boy". We skied the rest of the day together and then became Volunteer Partners at BC from that moment on.
One memorable trip I had with him was to Utah to play golf and we almost ran out of gas from Grand Junction CO to the Utah Border. We coasted down the mountain pass and pulled into the gas station with fumes in the tank.
We will always miss Fred and will have him and your family in our hearts and prayers. We consider ourselves so lucky to have had him in our lives for all these years.

I haven't been that shocked at losing so abruptly a good friend in 20 years or more. He was a joy to be around and I dearly miss him in our Beaver Creek Thursday volunteer group.
Teresa and I send our deepest sympathy to all of his extended family.

My husband Ted and I had the pleasure of knowing Fred through the Mountain Host Program at Beaver Creek. Whether we were on the mountain or having dinner/cocktails with Fred, we were having fun.

I'm so sad to learn of Fred's passing. Last year we featured Fred on the cover of our neighborhood magazine. He and I first met about 8 years ago and I got to know him over time as I did the magazine in the Val Vista Lakes. He will be missed. RIP
