Frederick John Payne

Karen remembers fondly comparing belly sizes with uncle Fred when she was pregnant with Nathan, and how he was always interested in what we were doing no matter what we were doing, she will always miss his laughter, he laughed a lot and was always so fun to be around, as an in-law to the family getting to know uncle Fred was a privilege, the thing I admired most was the relationship he had with my mother in law Fran, they would talk for hours and just laugh and laugh, something I witnessed many times and she loved it so much, our reunion last year was so special and we so enjoyed the stories and again the laughter, I miss Fran so much and I am so happy that they are together again with Curt also sharing stories and laughing together again, rest in peace uncle Fred.

Fred was a man on the go - get the job done efficiently and in a timely manner. A man you wanted on your team. Thanks for a job well done.

Fred Payne has been my brother-in-law for over 59 years. After the passing of his parents, he became the patriarch of the Payne family and graciously took on that role with my son, John and me after the death of Fred´s younger brother and my husband Curt. Fred checked on John and me with phone calls and visits throughout the years.
Anyone who spent time with Fred enjoyed life a little bit more. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Fred was my oldest brother, he and I shared a lot of memories together and we laughed a lot. We could talk on the phone for 2-3 hours and never tired of telling stories. I will miss sharing my life stories with him and listening to his stories. I´ll see Fred again in heaven and we can laugh together again.

Faith showed Uncle Fred many functions on their phones, over the years. They laughed and laughed when she showed him how take selfies and use Siri. At the family reunion in 2022, they made several videos using filters on Faith´s phone apps.
