REEG, CAPTAIN FREDERICK J. "FRED", of Saint Cloud passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Born in Hollis, New York, he moved to Saint Cloud in 1986 from Washington, D.C. He was a Captain in the U.S. Navy where he received among many awards the Bronze Star Medal, and the Navy Commendation Medal. He retired after 22 years, with distinction, from the Pentagon.. He was a member of the Saint Cloud V.F.W. Post, and the American Legion Saint Cloud Post. He is survived by, Wife of 20 years, Mim Reeg, of Saint Cloud; Sons, Ron, and wife Kitty Reeg, of Atlantis, Florida, Fred Jr. and wife Jennifer Reeg, of Merritt Island; step-children, Jami, and Husband John Viscomi, of Saint Cloud,
Karen, and Husband Steve Grooms, of Saint Cloud, and Brad, and Wife Pam Swogger, also of Saint Cloud; and his 15 loving grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by, daughter, Carole Reeg, and parents, Jacob, and Marie Clara Reeg. A Celebration Of Fred's Life Will Be Held At The Eastern Ave Baptist Church, Of Saint Cloud 1001 Eastern Ave, Saint Cloud. At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19th. Officiating will be Pastor, Jim Callen.
