Thomas & Linda Cole
June 10, 2014
Helen, Jenny and Judy,
It has been many years since we have seen any of you, but please know that you were in our thoughts often. We have some fun memories of our times in Stansbury Apartments, those were the days. Oh how fast the time has gone. Tom & I are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

It's not surprising that so many people call Fred their friend, because that was what Fred did the best. He was my friend for over 40 years. He always had time for a friend no matter how busy he was. I will miss him, his smile and his quick wit more than I can put into words. Goodbye Fred.

Fred will be deeply missed. I had the pleasure of working with him for 10+ years. I considered him to not only be a collegue, but also a friend. He was always so sincere and kind and we enjoyed sharing stories about how our families were doing. I know he will be watching over us from heaven. God bless you Fred.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Helen and the family. I could write a book about what a wonderful man you were. You will be missed very much by very many people as well as me. You were as genuine and sincere a person as there ever was. Goodbye for now, you truly were the one of the BEST!

I met Fred back in the 1980's through Gil Thurman and we have been great friends since then. We were the same age, got out of school same year, both of us were married 50 years and we shared a love of family beach vacations. I will miss his friendship and our conversations about sports, about our families, and the way we could share his pride in his family. God bless Fred for the honesty and goodness he brought to all who knew him. I hope through these messages Fred's family receives comfort knowing how he was loved and appreciated. Carroll Johnston

His positive energy, can do attitude and most of all, great sense of humor will always remain with me... a humble man who left his mark on all of us. If I had a 2nd Dad, I'd would have chosen Fred!

I will always think of My friend while I am on the water or golf course. He made those days memorable, with his stories and anecdotes. He always talked about his family and how proud he was of them, all while making us laugh. I thought those days would never end, and they will be missed.

Friends like Fred are hard to find, precious to keep, and one I will never forget. I am so glad that he let me be his friend because it was such a blessing for nearly 35 years. I was so much the better for it. He will be missed by all that he came in contact with him during his lifetime. God bless his family in this time of sorrow and grief.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
I'm shocked, since I always thought that Fred was in great health for a 73 year old, ex-baseball athlete, except for his synthetic hips and his heart valve replacement, about 3 years ago.
I often chided him about being time for him to retire and take it easy, but he seemed to thrive within the Resco business environment, usually unlocking the doors in the morning after locking up the night before.
He was a great friend who was always fun to be around. He and his devoted business savy will be missed by many at NGC.
He called me many times to cheer me up and sent me a Baltimore Colts retrospective book, while I was going through Cancer treatment in 2006. I'm sorry that I couldn't have been as supportive to Fred.
However, I did get a chance to see Fred for lunch and to catch up with things during my recent trip back to MD in late September.
He will always be fondly remembered as a trusted, caring friend.
