Michelle, even though we never had the honor of meeting Mr. Thornberry, but we know that he had a hand in raising beautiful children into wonderful adults. We are so grateful to have you and Gordy, and the boys as friends, and we're grateful that such a man as your dad is leaving a legacy of fine people that he has nurtured and influenced. We pray for your peace and comfort in knowing that he no longer carries the struggles of this world, and that he is home with his Heavenly Father. God bless you, Susan Giacona and family

Sending my deepest sympathy. It was a pleasure to work with even though I filled in for one day during his time of need.

GA introduced me to Fred while I working in Texas. We had a great first visit talking of outdoor things that we both truly enjoy. We shared our experiences and laughed together. Although most of our friendship was reduced to emails - I think of him often while doing things we had shared stories about. What a guy ! He'll be missed, but never forgotten - God Bless...

Donald (Fred) was a beloved member of the 1955 class of Conroe High School. I have many cherished lifetime memories of Donald, from elementary school through our 60th high school reunion. I am proud to have known him.
