Laina Franklin

I remember when we were trying to get her to play with the other kids outside but she would always end up alone playing by herself. She was so reserved and to herself but don't let that fool you she was a loud happy kid. Always happy. I miss her so much.

I remember when she would come in the room with me and Zoe and she would just stand there waiting for us to say something to her and she'll just walk out. She loved being involved. She loved being around us. She was always just around singing or dancing or making king mad because she was glued to his hip. God I miss her so much. I love you freedom.

GOD bless Freedom! I didn't have the pleasure of making her acquaintance, but her loving spirit is apparent from the teachers and everyone who knew her. We at Coleman A. Young Elementary view all of our babies as our own, whether they were in our class or not. Sending love and light to the family during this difficult time. Love, Ms. Leavy
