Dear Family - how sad I am to learn the news - what a wonderful man and friend we have all lost. I have so many personal and wonderful memories of happy times spent with Freeman and Rosita in Ottawa and in Victoria. I was so proud to have been able to share so many things with him, and later in our lives, my husband and my wonderful children. Be happy Rosita, in knowing that you have a strong family behind you and that you spent and long and amazing life with him. You have experienced so many incredible things throughout your careers. Remember him with smiles, as I will - that slow and knowing laugh will remain with me always. My love and thoughts are with you all - Jane and family
