G. Robert Day

DAY _ G. Robert (Bob) Day passed away peacefully in Mission, BC on June 28, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Bob was predeceased by his wife Molly and son Brian Stewart. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Carole of Stony Plain, AB; son Warren of Saskatoon, SK; granddaughters Wendy Harrison and Candace Avison both of Fox Creek; 7 great-grandchildren, Erin, Chalynn, Matthew, Jessica, Sharlee, Cullen and Payton; 1 and a half great-great grandchildren, Ruby and Alexander (waiting in the wings) as well as extended family and many, many friends. Bob was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Br. 57 Mission and executive member of Pacific Command. A memorial service will be held at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32840 Janzen Ave., Mission on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Rempel officiating. Interment will follow at Hatzic Cemetery. Bob's family would like to thank his Doctors and the incredible staff at Pleasant View for their care and compassion.
