I am so sad to hear this. I worked with Scott at Mortenson and I have very fond memories of him and Gary Peak, as we all had offices on the 1st floor.

I met Scott back when we were teens working at McDonalds in Bath, ME. He and my brother Dave went on to become roommates in college, and I joined them a year later. We shared so many laughs and memories during our McDonald´s/college days - our "fraternity" name was Beta Alpha Rho Nu (BARN, after the trailer we shared off campus), Scott introducing me to the majestic sounds of Boston and classic rock, machine gun kittens just to rattle off a few....he was always keeping the energy up. I know that humor and positivity were threads he maintained throughout his lifetime.
I am so very sorry to know that his laugh and light will no longer be a part of this world; he will be missed by many, no doubt. My sincerest condolences to his wife Christy, his children Samuel and Sophia and the rest of his family and friends for their tremendous loss.

Scott was the most kind, generous and fun person to be around. Many fond memories at the West house in California. I´ll always remember my nickname from him...Jen Jenson Super Hero. God bless you Scott
