Lacy was a truly Godly man. He was an inspiration to my former hospice patient. He was an inspiration to me. May God Bless his family during this difficult time of loss.

Judy--So many times we've said we needed to get in touch with you and Lacy. We were so sad to hear the news. We see that we live only about 25 miles from Brent (we are in Greenville). We've been at our current church 15 years--long enough to send the oldest two to Texas A&M, Commerce, and now the youngest is a freshman there. We treasure so many wonderful memories of the two of you. Lacy was the first minister that I knew who was absolutely fun-loving. He once put saran wrap over the toilet seat. And there was the 30th birthday party you two gave for me at your house, complete with coffin. I hope you can see the picture I'm sending. Steve II is on back second from right under tree limb(no wife, only casual girlfriends; he's married to golf). Seth is on back left and his wife April is in front. Spenser is on back, second from left, and his girlfriend Morgan is in front. My e-mail is [email protected]. Our home is 2309 Holsum, Greenville 75401. We'd love to hear from you. We love you so much and have missed you both. Steve & Wynema

Judy,
I was just checking the prayer list on the North Side website and got the news of Lacy's passing. Larry & I have always had a special place in our hearts for you & Lacy. You have always been an inspiration to us and we learned so much from Lacy's lessons. He was a gifted teacher and a wonderful friend. Please know that we have been lifting you both up in prayer through this rough journey you have been on and will continue to lift you up for strength.

God Bless you!

Judy, my prayers are with you and your family. Lacy has been a wonderful inspiration to my family and I throughout his ministry and involvement at NSBC. His words of wisdom were always enlightening from the pulpit, a Sunday School lesson or thoughts he would share with you and then you would share his thoughts with our Bible Study group throughout the years.
