February 19, 1931 – Masantol, Pampanga, Philippines
January 23, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta
Gabino Ducut, beloved husband of Lourdes Ducut of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Gabino was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in September, 1994. He was a religious man and faithfully attended Mass and read the Bible. Gabino enjoyed spending time with his family, picnics and listening to traditional Filipino music. Gabino is survived by his loving wife, Lourdes; his four children and their spouses, Maribeth and Gary Mah, Marilou and Joel Diwa, Marlene and Arnold Paule, Vincent and Suzanne Ducut, seven grandchildren; Kristina, Joshua, Sophia, Andrea, Adrian, Andrew and John Paul; four sisters, Grace Palanca, Honorata Cacho, Anita Bautista and Juliet Pangilinan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Milagros Ducut; his parents, Eleuterio and Felisa Ducut; three brothers, Maximo, Sofronio and Juan Ducut and his sister Natalia Ducut. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) tomorrow, Friday, January 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Community (800 – 85th Street SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Gabino Ducut, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
