OBITUARY GABRIELE PIANESE (GABY) After a long and courageous battle on November 23, 2009, Gaby passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Amerigo Pianese and his father-in-law Costanzo Mancini. Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Mancini). Loving father of Maria (Giovanni D'Aliesio) and Sabrina. Devoted grandfather to his cherished Bianca and Anthony. Devoted brother to Tony Priondolo (Therese Larue), Vincenzina (Dante DelleDonne), and Ida (Bruno Iozzo). He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Filomena Mancini (nee Molino), his brother-in-law Michael Mancini (Lise Brault), his aunts Angela Magnone and Ida Veltri and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the I.C.U. at Royal Victoria Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 27 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 1120 Jean Talon East. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28 at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame de la Consolata Church, 1700 Jean Talon East. Burial will follow at le Mausolee Saint-Martin, 2159 Boul. Saint Martin East, Laval. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation.
