Gail Andrew Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 22, 2025.
Bethel - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Anne Andrew of Bethel, Vermont on November 27, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at her daughter's home in Boston. Her presence will be deeply missed.

Gail was born on August 15, 1958, to Eleanor and Parker Peterson of Morse Street in Westboro, MA. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Andrew; her sister, Claudia McCullough and her husband David; her daughter Megan and her husband Charlie; her son Daniel and his wife Shawnee; her son Matthew; her son Christopher and his wife Katie; and her beloved grandchildren, Whitney, Austin, Elinor, and Timothy. She will be remembered as a nurturing mother and grandmother as well as an educator passionate about working with children. Along with a degree in Psychology, Gail held a master's degree in Elementary Education. She spent her early career in North Brookfield, MA, and later sought adventure in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where she taught for two years at an all-girls school. More recently she dedicated her time to Early Childhood Education. She left a lasting impression on many families over the course of her career.

In honor of Gail, a gathering is planned from 11am to 2pm on January 3rd, 2026 at Spencer Country Inn, 500 Main St., Spencer, MA 01562. Refreshments will be served.

I am so deeply sorry for your family´s loss. We were moms together due to our children´s growing up friendship. So we saw a lot of each other. My heart aches for you all. It is far too soon. I wish you all healing and peace. Karen Roberts

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom was so much more than a mother to you-she was a constant presence, a source of love, and truly felt like family to us for so many years. Her kindness, warmth, and the way she made people feel welcomed will always stay with me.

Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. I hope you find comfort in the many beautiful memories and in knowing how deeply she was loved by so many. I´m here for you, always.

Dear Gail,
A friend for many years, a fellow teacher in North Brookfield, our shared August 15th birthday, and a wonderful mom. I will miss our talks and the friendship between Dan & Brian that brought many stories. May you rest in peace. Always in my heart. God Bless you.......
