Gail Bates Obituary
Gail will be missed by all including her sisters Lynne, and Dawn. Gail grew up in an Air Forces family and after finishing nursing school in Cape Breton, moved to Ontario and eventually settled in Oshawa for more than 40 years. A volunteer for many community groups including the Lions (recently elected branch Chair), a city councilor, and a life-long nurse, mother, and grandmother. A tribute page has been created on the website for Destefano Funeral Home in Oshawa, and donations can be made through their to the Heart and Stroke foundation in Gail's honour.
