Gail CORBY Obituary
(nee Moore)
On Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Born in Ottawa on April 4, 1939, she was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Moore. She was predeceased by her husband James Corby; survived by her children Melodie Murphy (Rob Laderoute) and Shane Murphy (Sherri Damato); her grandchildren Crystal (Ryan Foley) and Tiffany (Kevin Payne); her great-grandchildren Presley, Cooper and Melia; her brother Emerson (Iris) Moore as well as many nieces. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. A Service in Memory of Gail will be held in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel - 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, ON on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

The monthly sing a long group at Park Place and the band "Grateful We're Not Dead" will miss Gail tremendously. She was always asking for the "fun" songs, generally poking fun at ourselves. She was our biggest fan. We'll miss you Gail (Don, Bruce, Al and Gord)

Hugh Scott, a local musician Gail has known since high school, has lost his best fan. From Park Place to the Florida Pan handle to Manotick to Windsor Gail will be missed; fiercely independent until her health failed her, she brought a unique style to our lives. She was a good friend.
