Gail Gaus Renshaw

I just learned from my brother in St. Louis of Gail's death. She and I met when she was at Georgetown Law, and we had such wonderful times together. We remained friends for many, many years, and saw each other any time I was back in St. Louis visiting family. I loved her laugh so much. I am so very sorry that she is gone. My love to her children, who came to my mom's house for a pony ride many years ago when they were very young. Melissa Mills Herring

I knew Gail when I was a teenager and young adult. She was a friend of my sister's and was sort of protective of and looked out after me, without being obtrusive. I remember that she was so easy to be around, had a great smile and spirit. Even though I haven't seen her in a very long time, I will miss her for sure. Best wishes to her kids. Your mom was a lovely person.

I feel so blessed to have met Gail and worked for her these past 18 years. In my heart and mind she is still with me. She was like a sister to me. I miss you Gail. My thoughts and prayers go out to Maggie and Eddie at this most difficult time for them. Lisa Tornatore

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Gail's passing . I worked with her for some years and I enjoyed her humor and upbeat personality. She was a friend . My condolences to her many friends and family. What a beautiful lady.

Gail was one of my daughters best friends. As such she helped me and my grandsons with legal things any time asked.Of course at no charge.She will be missed by all of us and most especially by her group.So sad.

What a loss for all of us whose lives were enriched by Gail's presence! In the 44 years of our friendship, she was unfailingly positive, accepting, and loving. I have never known anyone like her.

Maggie, remember when you came home from school to find the front door open? You came to the office in Clayton, and I drove you home and searched the house to make sure it wasn't a burglar. If it had been anyone else's home, I would have called the police – but you and I both knew your mom had probably run out of the house and simply forgot to shut the door. The memories of your mother will always make me smile. My condolences to you, Eddie, your family and Gail's many, many friends.
