I cant believe Gale has been gone 8 years! The Rose society misses his rose knowledge, wonderful smile and personality. Gale was a man of God, I know where he is, in Gods garden.

I am in disbelief over the news of Gale's passing. Unfortunately I was in the hospital myself on Thursday until Monday and my family was out of town for a family function. Alison just announced the news at dinner and we were grasping for words to describe how we felt. I assume he was not feeling well and needed to go to the hospital. We've known you for a while through St. Agnes, but meeting Gale on the cruise was a pleasureable experience. He is a gem of a gentleman. Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss and forgive us that we did not know about any of it until today. We certainly would have been there to offer comfort and to say farewell to a great guy. I know that you have wonderful family and friends and they will offer you all the support you need. We were so sorry to hear of Gale's passing. He was truly a special individual. Gale always made you feel better after talking with him. He instantly put you at ease and made you feel like you could talk about anything and that he would be completely interested in it. He had a kind heart and anchored a wonderful family. We cannot begin to express how deeply saddened we were to learn of Gale's passing. Tom and Elaine had such a great visit with the two of you in Florida. You are in our thoughts and prayers for healing and learning to live with your many memories. Tom and Cheryl Neal, Sarasota, FL

Gale continued to be active in the Rose Society, as best he could. He was known as nice guy, and great rosarian. He demonstrated a positive and wonderful attitude despite his health and obstacles. Some people are just not replaceable, Gale was one of those. We will miss him.

We share in your loss of Gale. He was such a great guy, always had a smile & a kind word. He fought a great battle against that horrendous disease. Our Why Catholic group prayed the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel for Gale on Thursday evening, so my hope is they were fighting side by side as Gale strolled through the gates of heaven. Our thoughts & continued prayers are with you & the family. Love you all.
